#Valentine’s Day Special – Cream Cheese Strawberry Jar

I am not that kind of a person to celebrate Valentine’s Day in an elaborate way. Mainly if you ask Mr. Pie, he will give you a weird look that will directly make you understand – “What is so much fuss with the Valentine’s Day!!!” And I will return back the same look with a decent smile (which is kind of yelling at him) to him to make him understand that “sometimes it is good to show off the gesture of love you know my dear poor soul!!!”

In my student life Valentine’s Day we used to celebrate in a different way. We would make some handmade gifts for our near dear friends and would love to shower them with that gifts. We were totally unaware that before we reach to Valentine’s Day we have to climb up the steps celebrating Rose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Bear Day, Kiss Day blah blah that now a day making people crazy. More surprisingly, my almost 10 year old Miss Picky Pie knows which day is being celebrated by which name. Most of the time, I, all most recover from a heart attack when Miss Picky Pie comes home and shares how her class mates are planning to celebrate Valentine’s Day, who will give rose to whom and how a love proposal will be made. Thankfully Miss Picky Pie shares each and everything with me and I try to behave like her best pal keeping my Motherly concerns and a steaming anger aside.  This is the era that is so much different to my childhood and student life. I am trying to adjust with it and also trying to go with the flow not to make myself a weird odd man out.

Now it is Miss Picky Pie’s demand that we should celebrate Valentine’s Day. And we come to a conclusion that we will keep it simple. First we decided to make a heart shaped cake. But then we simplified it to a Jar dessert. This Cream Cheese Strawberry jar dessert is so much fun to make. Miss Picky Pie loved making it and no doubt she demanded for more and to make it more often. Along with this Valentine’s Day special dessert, I at last gave a kick start to one of my  long lasted dreams. It is a long due to start my own video channel and so I did it. You will find lot of errors in it. The main challenges that I faced is editing it. Hope in near future I will improve my ability to make it more perfect. Now wish all my readers Happy Valentine’s Day and hope you will all enjoy making it at home. Don’t forget to give your feedback too. And yes please subscribe to my YouTube channel too.
